Parent Partnership
At Bandon Hill Primary School we are committed to raising achievement in our school and we want parents, guardians and carers to have the opportunity to become more involved in their child’s learning. We also endeavour to develop a close relationship with parents; one that supports and encourages all children to achieve their full potential whilst feeling safe and secure in their school environment. We value the contribution that parents can provide to their children’s learning and we understand that any educational setting can only be fully effective if there is successful partnership with parents.
Our Parent Partnership forum meets termly and help us achieve these long-term benefits:
• Contribute to improved pupil attendance, punctuality, behaviour, progress and wellbeing
• Increase parent participation and involvement
• Enhance parents’ support in their children’s learning
• Improved home/school communications
This is a challenging but rewarding venture that should positively impact upon every child, parent, carer and member of staff at our school. We believe that a school that encompasses parents and carers in its vision is a school that can create a wholly successful learning environment for its pupils. Involving parents in their child’s education is an exciting challenge, with excellent benefits for all.
If you are interested in joining the Parent Partnership forum then please email the school office stating ”Parent Partnership” in the subject line. In the main body of the email please include your name as well as your child’s name and their year group.
